Els Jardins de la Plaça de les Tortugues són un petit jardí on es troba la Font de les Tortugues , envoltat a la vora exterior de tarongers amargs ( Citrus aurantium ).
Als jardins d'aquesta plaça de les Tortugues es troba el monument a la Mare de Déu del Rosari , construït per la ciutat en record del tsunami de 1755 .
Les tortugues al voltant de la font es consideren animals afortunats i simbolitzen la longevitat i la protecció . Per tant, les tortugues apareixen en un gran nombre de temples i ciutats
