Los Jardines de la Plaça de les Tortugues es un pequeño jardín que alberga la Font de les Tortugues rodeada de naranjos amargos ( Citrus aurantium ) en el borde exterior.
En los jardines de esta plaza de les Tortugues se encuentra el monumento a Nuestra Señora del Rosario , erigido por la ciudad en memoria del maremoto de 1755 .
Las tortugas que rodean la fuente se consideran animales afortunados y simbolizan longevidad y protección . Por ello, las tortugas aparecen en una gran cantidad de templos y ciudades
