Aquí veiem les ruïnes de la porta fortificada de la capella de Sant Honorat.
La capella actual data del segle XIX , però va ser construïda sobre o prop d'un lloc sagrat més antic , possiblement medieval.
Segons la tradició, Saint-Honorat va viure aquí com a ermità al segle IV, abans de fundar l'abadia a l' illa Saint-Honorat (illes de Lérins prop de Cannes).
Sant Honorat de Lérins és el sant patró dels agricultors, ermitans i comunitats religioses del sud de França.
Es triga uns 20 minuts a peu, de vegades per senders empinats , per arribar a la cova i al brollador proper.
