Hier sehen wir die Ruinen des befestigten Tores der Kapelle Sant Honorat.

Die heutige Kapelle stammt aus dem 19. Jahrhundert , wurde jedoch auf oder in der Nähe einer älteren, möglicherweise mittelalterlichen heiligen Stätte errichtet.

Der Überlieferung nach lebte Saint-Honorat hier im 4. Jahrhundert als Einsiedler, bevor er die Abtei auf der Insel Saint-Honorat (Lerins-Inseln bei Cannes) gründete.

Der Heilige Honorat von Lérins ist der Schutzpatron der Bauern, Einsiedler und religiösen Gemeinschaften in Südfrankreich.

Um die Höhle und die nahegelegene Quelle zu erreichen, sind zu Fuß, teilweise über steile Pfade, etwa 20 Minuten erforderlich.
