El anomenat el molí “ De l’esperança”, es el mes jove dels dos que queden a la ciutat. És originari del 1788 que en aquell moment es va construir en fusta i la seva funció era de vent ja que s’encarregava de adobar l’escorça. Al 1850 va ser substituït per una copia de pedra però 24 anys més tard es va incendiar i es va reconstruir amb maó.
Les astes del molí sobrevolen per sobre de les cases per tal de poder agafar el aire; la vista que proporciona es pot observar des de molts punts de la ciutat i li dóna una imatge històrica a la ciutat. El molí va tenir vuit propietaris diferents però com que no aportava gaires guanys va ser adquirit pel municipi. Va ser restaurat al 1982 i des de aleshores ha funcionat de nou utilitzat per fer farines especials utilitzades als forns de la zona. Avui en dia es pot entrar dintre per visitar-lo.
