Elverum és un municipi situat al comtat d'Innlandet, Noruega. Té 21.030 habitants i la seva superfície és de 1.229 km². El centre administratiu del municipi és el poble homònim.
El municipi es troba en una cruïlla important, amb Hamar a l'oest, Kongsvinger al sud, i Trysil a la frontera sueca al nord-est. Limita al nord amb el municipi d'Åmot, al nord-est amb el municipi de Trysil, al sud-est amb Våler, i a l'oest amb Løten.
