Òlbia fou una ciutat grega d'Escítia, que Plini el Vell diu que inicialment es deia Olbiòpolis i Milftòpolis i que també era anomenada Boristenes pel nom del principal riu d'Escítia i pel poble dels boristenites . Hi van néixer Posidoni, un historiador i sofista, i Esfer, un estoic deixeble de Zenó de Cítion.
La ciutat era a la vora dreta de l'Hipanis , al líman del Buh meridional, just on es converteix en el líman del Dnièper-Buh. Les seves ruïnes es troben a l'espai natural de Sto Mohyl , al municipi de Parutyne , a uns 20 km de Mikolàiv, a l'óblast homònim, Ucraïna. A la rodalia de la ciutat, vivien les tribus dels cal·lipides i alazons .
