Bad Hofgastein [baːt ˈhoːfɡastaɪ̯n] er en markkommune med 6816 indbyggere i distriktet St. Johann im Pongau, i Salzburg-regionen i Østrig. Det er en kur-, sommer- og vintersportskommune. Kommunen ligger i Gasteinerdalen i Pongau i Salzburg-regionen. Indtil slutningen af 2002 tilhørte kommunen retskredsen Gastein, siden 2003 er den en del af retskredsen Sankt Johann im Pongau. Kommunens område omfatter den midterste dal af Gasteiner Ache. Det dybeste punkt i kommunen ligger mod nord ved 820 meter over havet. Mod øst stiger landet til Ankogelgruppen. De højeste toppe er Laderdinger Gamskarspitz, Frauenkogel og Gamskarkogel. Mod vest ligger Goldberggruppen med toppene Kramkogel, Türchlwand og Silberpfennig.
