Wanzele er en landsby i den belgiske provins Oost-Vlaanderen og en delkommune af kommunen Lede. Landsbyen ligger i Denderregionen.
Indtil det 13. århundrede tilhørte Wanzele og Schellebelle én herredømme. I 1537 blev herredømmet Wanzele solgt af kejser Karl V til Adriaan Bette fra huset Bette. Fra 1683 til starten af 1700-tallet blev magten over to tredjedele udøvet af en Theodoor van Roosendaal fra Antwerpen, men indtil slutningen af det 18. århundrede var familien Bette igen ejer. Den 14. april 1759 kom den anden tredjedel af herredømmet, sammen med friherredømmet Ertbrugge, i hænderne på Jan Papejans fra Morkhoven.
