Ved foden af Kesterheide - langs den gamle sporvognsspor - ligger gården for naturuddannelsescentret De Paddenbroek i en oase af høje træer med køkkenhave, bageovn og biavlerhus.
I uddannelsescentret arbejder natur og landbrug hånd i hånd, for det Pajotse landskab er i høj grad 'landbrugsnatur' med frugttræer, hække, vandhuller og andre små landskabselementer.
Paddenbroek står åbent for alle som et hvilested, udgangspunkt, dannelsescenter, mødested... Paddenbroek har et udarbejdet tilbud til folkeskolen, men modtager også grupper og teambuilding.
