De Rotonde er et stort åbent legeområde i Wenduine ved foden af klitterne, beskyttet mod vejr og vind af en moderne skærm. På denne elegante bue af diget står også statuen af grev de Smet de Naeyer (1843-1913), finansminister og offentlig arbejder og senere premierminister under Leopold II. Grev de Smet de Naeyer bidrog i høj grad til udviklingen af den belgiske kystinfrastruktur.
