De Rotonde is een grote open speelruimte in Wenduine aan de voet van de duinen, door een moderne paravang beschermd tegen weer en wind. Op deze sierlijke ronding van de zeedijk staat eveneens het standbeeld van graaf de Smet de Naeyer (1843-1913), minister van Financiën en Openbare Werken en later 1ste minister onder Leopold II. Graaf de Smet de Naeyer droeg in belangrijke mate bij tot de uitbouw van de Belgische kustinfrastructuur.
