La Rotonda è un ampio spazio giochi aperto a Wenduine, ai piedi delle dune, protetto dagli agenti atmosferici da una moderna paravento. Su questa elegante curva della diga marittima si trova anche la statua del conte de Smet de Naeyer (1843-1913), ministro delle Finanze e dei Lavori Pubblici e successivamente primo ministro sotto Leopoldo II. Il conte de Smet de Naeyer ha dato un contributo significativo allo sviluppo delle infrastrutture costiere belghe.
