La Rotonda es un gran espacio de juego abierto en Wenduine, al pie de las dunas, protegido del tiempo y el viento por una moderna pantalla. En esta elegante curva del dique marítimo también se encuentra la estatua del conde de Smet de Naeyer (1843-1913), ministro de Finanzas y Obras Públicas y más tarde primer ministro bajo Leopoldo II. El conde de Smet de Naeyer contribuyó de manera significativa al desarrollo de la infraestructura costera belga.
