Minerstien langs den tidligere jernbanelinje 82 mellem Zottegem og Brakel er en af de mange perler i vandrestienet Zwalmvallei og Bronbossen i de Flamske Ardenner. Stien forbandt Zottegem dengang med det walisiske kulbassin i Borinage, hvor tusindvis af minearbejdere dagligt gik på jagt efter det sorte guld.
