Le chemin des mineurs le long de l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer 82 entre Zottegem et Brakel est l'un des nombreux points forts du réseau de randonnée de la vallée de Zwalm et des forêts de Bron dans les Ardennes flamandes. Le chemin reliait à l'époque Zottegem au bassin houiller wallon de la Borinage où des milliers de mineurs allaient chaque jour extraire l'or noir.
