Klosteret Saint-Pierre de Lobbes var et gammelt og prestigefyldt benediktinerkloster beliggende i Belgien, i Lobbes nær Thuin i provinsen Hainaut. Det blev grundlagt ved Sambre omkring 654 af den hellige Landelin, en omvendt røver, der blev eremit, og som tiltrak tilhængere. Oratoriet bygget på stedet samlede disciple. Den første abbed i Lobbes er Ursmer, som udviklede klostrets bygninger. Med den anden abbed i Lobbes begynder klosterets intellektuelle aktivitet. Biblioteket vil blive beriget gennem århundrederne.
