Badeanstalten blev bygget i 1923. Arkitekten bag denne bygning var M-J Leburon.
Den originale facade, der forener rækker og tofarvede buer, er udsmykket med et relief af den disonaiske billedhugger Joseph Gérard.
Dens eksistens vidner om nødvendigheden af at skabe et sted for den arbejdende befolkning, der ikke havde adgang til "fast" vand, som gjorde det muligt for alle at vaske sig regelmæssigt.
