L'istituzione dei bagni è stata costruita nel 1923. L'architetto di questo edificio era M-J Leburon.
La facciata originale, che combina righe e archi bicolori, è adornata da un bassorilievo dello scultore disonese Joseph Gérard.
La sua esistenza testimonia la necessità di creare un luogo per la popolazione lavoratrice che non aveva accesso all'acqua "fissa", permettendo a tutti di lavarsi regolarmente.
