Kriger Monument til minde om Slaget ved Leie i maj 1940, beliggende ved Leie lige før broen ved Desselgem på hjørnet med Desselgem-Trakel. I juni 1997 blev kuplen af en M 109-tank givet til Desselgem af den Sjette Artilleri under militærparaden på Markedet i Waregem i anledning af 30-årsdagen for tilknytningen mellem det Sjette Artilleriregiment og byen Waregem. I september 1997 blev kuplen af M 109-tanken med kanon placeret på en sokkel og omdannet til monument. I 2008 blev kuplen erstattet af den nuværende Howitzertank M 108. Tanken er givet af artilleriafdelingen i Brasschaat under fejring af V-dag som bekræftelse på de 40 års tilknytning til byen Waregem.
