Retten i Retten og dens udvidelse, Glaspaladset, ligger på den tidligere Manøvrerplads, der blev brugt til træning af soldaterne fra kasernen Korporal Trésignies, som ligger på den anden side af avenue Général Michel. Dette rektangulære område er afgrænset, udover avenue Général Michel mod øst, af rue Émile Tumelaire mod syd, boulevard Alfred de Fontaine mod vest og boulevard Paul Janson mod nord. Stedet har siden 2015 heddet Parc Jacques Depelsenaire.
