Jacques og Annie kigger fra deres stue ud over vinmarken. Denne ligger på en halv hektar sandlerjord med let hældning imod vest og på sydsiden i dalen af landsbyen. I 2013 lavede de for første gang nogle lovende vine, herunder Pinot Auxerrois. Det Heuvellandske vingård De Vallei arbejder helt på biodynamisk grundlag.
