Ved den anden kilde kan du i maj og juni beundre den gule blomst af sumpeg. Symbolet for Bruxelles-regionen, hvis lange blade har formen som et sværd. På samme sted vises blomsterne af stor fingertel i begyndelsen af foråret. I modsætning til de fleste planter udvikler de brede blade (som minder om rabarber) sig efter blomstring. Disse to planter vokser i fugtige omgivelser, ofte ved kanten af bække og damme.
