Vejen lever op sit navn. En 'thier' er en sti, der løber langs bakkeranden. Her er stien på begge sider tilgroet med en variation af buske og træer, såsom hækbehandlingen, hassel og dunete. Slående ser du her og der buske af ilex. Vi forbinder ofte denne busk med en plantet prydbusk, men glemmer, at ilex er hjemmehørende i vores skove og karakteristisk for det 'atlantiske klima'.
