Description

De weg doet zijn naam eer aan. Een ‘thier’ is een pad dat langs de heuvelrand loopt. Hier is het pad langs beide zijden begroeid met een variëteit aan struiken en bomen, zoals de haagbeuk, hazelaar en meidoorn. Opvallend zie je hier en daar struikjes hulst. We verbinden deze struik vaak met een aangeplante sierstruik, maar vergeten dat de hulst inheems is in onze bossen en karakteristiek voor het ‘Atlantisch klimaat’.
