Description

Synet af kirkepladsen forstærkes af tilstedeværelsen af et bemærkelsesværdigt monument til minde om ofrene fra de to krige, flankeret af en haubits fra 14-18. Krigsmindemærket mindes de militære og civile ofre fra Første og Anden Verdenskrig. Teksten på monumentet: "AUX / ENFANTS / DE LA / COMMUNE / DE / BOVIGNY / MORTS / POUR / LA / PATRIE". Dette monument blev designet af arkitekt Joseph Loutschen og udført af stenhuggermester Jos.Marechal. Det blev indviet den 11. september 1921.

Ved monumentet står en tysk 17cm skyttegravsmortér.

Under Ardenneroffensivet blev landsbyen hårdnakket forsvaret af de amerikanske tropper.
