Ikke langt fra Zonnebeke (Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 fortjener opmærksomhed) ligger den engelske Tyne Cot Cemetery. I området mistede briterne og tyskerne 500.000 soldater på hundrede dage. Den største kirkegård i Det Forenede Kongerige på det europæiske fastland har 11.956 omkomne. Af 34.957 savnede er navnene indrisset.
