Overath er en mellemstor by i Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreis i den sydlige del af delstaten Nordrhein-Westfalen. Byen blev første gang nævnt i året 1060.
Hovedbyen ligger cirka 25 kilometer øst for Köln i Aggertal i det Bergiske Land. De øvrige lokaliteter ligger i Aggertal, i den nærliggende Sülztal og på de omkringliggende højder.
