Pinnow er en kommune øst for delstatshovedstaden Schwerin. Den administreres af Amt Crivitz med sæde i Crivitz. Nær stedet findes en lufthavn.
Pinnow ligger nær østkysten af Schweriner See, øst for Pinnower See og vest for Warnow. I kommuneområdet findes der med Pinnower Kiessee og en grusgravssø ved Pinnow Ausbau, som er opstået ved grusgrave, to store vandområder. Bietnitz strømmer gennem Pinnow, og andre vandløb er udover Warnow i øst også Mühlenfließ i nord. I kommuneområdet Pinnow findes naturbeskyttelsesområdet Trockenhänge ved Petersberg på begge sider af lufthavnen Pinnow. De højeste højder i kommuneområdet når 75 m over NHN højde.
