Pinnow

Pinnow is a municipality east of the state capital Schwerin. It is administered by the Crivitz office located in Crivitz. Near the village, there is an airfield.
Pinnow is located near the eastern shore of Lake Schwerin, east of Lake Pinnow and west of the Warnow River. Within the municipality, there are two other large bodies of water, the Pinnow gravel lake and a gravel lake near Pinnow Ausbau, both formed by gravel extraction. The Bietnitz flows through Pinnow; other waterways include the Warnow to the east and the Mühlenfließ to the north. Within the municipality of Pinnow, there is the nature reserve Trockenhänge am Petersberg on both sides of the Pinnow airfield. The highest elevations in the municipality reach 75 m above sea level.
