Det Historiske Center i byen Remscheid, organisatorisk forbundet med det Tyske Værktøjsmuseum, er et lokalt hus for historie. Det varetager opgaverne fra det tidligere byarkiv og det tidligere lokalhistoriske museum.
Den ældste del af det Historiske Center er boligen til værktøjsforhandlerne Cleff. Den tiltalende ydre design af den repræsentative bygning, der blev bygget i 1778, forbinder stiltræk fra borgerlig rokoko med formerne og den sort-hvid-grønne farvepalet fra den bergiske byggekunst.
