Kölntårnet er med 148,1 meter den højeste kontorbygning i Köln og efter Post Tower i Bonn den næsthøjeste skyskraber i Nordrhein-Westfalen. Det blev bygget på to og et halvt år, fra den 1. juni 1999 til den 21. november 2001, i Kölner Mediapark. Bygningens ensemble i bydelen Köln-Neustadt-Nord skal værdiforøge byen Köln som medieplacering og tilbyde virksomheder fra branchen kontorer, konferencer og konferencelokaler. Tagterrassen på 30. etage er offentligt tilgængelig for besøgende på den nærliggende restaurant.
