Kraftværket, der blev taget i brug i 1992, ligger nær Vohburg ved Donau i den bayerske kommune Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm i Tyskland.
Den elektriske effekt, der genereres af tre Kaplan-turbiner med en lodret akse og en løbehjuldiameter på fem meter, beløber sig til 23,3 MW. Kraftværket genererer jernbaneelektricitet. Ejeren af kraftværket er Donau Wasserkraft AG; det drives af Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH. Nettilslutningen sker på 110 kV spændingsniveauet ind i elnettet for jernbaneoperatøren DB Energie.
