Domkirken i Halle er den ældste bevarede kirke i den gamle bydel i Halle. Her residede ærkebiskopperne af Magdeburg i lang tid som landeherre i byen. Kirken fra kardinal Albrecht af Brandenburg skulle, sammen med den ved siden af byggede Nye Residens, blive en del af det mest indflydelsesrige, magtfulde og repræsentative stift nord for Alperne. Domkirken tilhører Kulturfonden Sachsen-Anhalt.
Kirken var oprindeligt en klosterkirke grundlagt af dominikanermunke i 1271 og færdiggjort omkring 1330 med Sankt Paul til Det Hellige Kors som skytshelgen. I henhold til deres regler gav nonnerne afkald på tårn og tværskib i deres enkle, tre-skibede hallenkirke.
