Venskabens tempel er en lille rundtempel i den vestlige del af parken Sanssouci i Potsdam, som den preussiske konge Friedrich II. lod opføre til minde om sin yndlingssøster, markgrevinde Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, der døde i 1758. Nær det Nye Palæ, syd for hovedalleen, skabte Carl von Gontard mellem 1768 og 1770 pavillonen som modstykke til den antiktempel, der ligger nord for alléen i en akse.
Som forbillede for venskabens tempel tjente Apollotemplet i Amaltheahaven i Neuruppin. Arkitekten Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorffs debutværk blev skabt i 1735 i en pryd- og nyttehave, som kronprins Friedrich lod anlægge ved sin Neuruppin-bolig, hvor han var befalet for et regiment fra 1732 til 1735.
