Il Tempio dell'Amicizia è un piccolo tempio rotondo nella parte occidentale del parco di Sanssouci a Potsdam, voluto dal re prussiano Federico II in memoria della sua amata sorella, la marchesa Wilhelmine di Bayreuth, morta nel 1758. Nei pressi del Nuovo Palazzo, a sud dell'Alle principale, Carl von Gontard tra il 1768 e il 1770 creò il padiglione come controparte del tempio antico situato su un'asse a nord dell'allea.
Il modello per il Tempio dell'Amicizia fu il Tempio di Apollo nel Giardino di Amaltea a Neuruppin. L'opera prima dell'architetto Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff fu realizzata nel 1735 in un giardino ornamentale e utile, che il principe ereditario Federico fece costruire presso la sua residenza di Neuruppin, dove fu comandante di un reggimento dal 1732 al 1735.
