Bybanen Duisburg har siden 1881 været ryggraden i den offentlige transport i Ruhrby byen Duisburg. Efter at sporvognene i Duisburg indtil midten af 1960'erne kørte på et smalsporet net nord for Rhinen og et normalsporet net syd for Rhinen, er alle strækninger i dag normalsporet. Siden slutningen af Anden Verdenskrig er nettet konstant blevet mindre. I midten af 1970'erne begyndte tunnelbyggeriet til bybanen Rhein-Ruhr i Duisburg. I dag benytter de to tilbageværende sporvognslinjer og en bybanelinje i centrum tunnelstrækningerne.
