Vandrinformationscentret Eifel var et læringssted uden for skolen med fokus på vand, som også havde tilknyttede konferencefaciliteter i byen Heimbach i Eifel Nationalpark.
I bygningen af den tidligere hovedskole blev WIZE oprettet i 1992. Det blev drevet af byen Heimbach, Karl H. Krischer-fonden og en støtteforening.
