Det folkeejede selskab VEB Lokomotivbau Elektrotechnische Werke „Hans Beimler“ Hennigsdorf, opkaldt efter politikeren Hans Beimler og beliggenheden af fabrikken i Hennigsdorf, var en jernbanevognproducent i DDR og der den eneste producent af elektriske lokomotiver.
Udover de elektriske lokomotiver fra DR-serierne 211, 242, 251, 250, 212/243/114/112 og 252 blev der fra 1964 også fremstillet diesel-lokomotiver af serien V 60.12 og serien 110, udviklet af VEB Lokomotivbau „Karl Marx“ i Potsdam-Babelsberg. Derudover blev der produceret forskellige vogntyper til miner samt forskellige motorvognstyper til eksport og Berlins S-bane og U-bane.
