Ützdorf er en del af den store kommune Wandlitz, der ligger direkte ved Liepnitzsøen. Den lille landsby, der allerede er dokumenteret i 1294 som en gård- og fiskerlandsby, har siden kommunereformen i 2003 tilhørt Wandlitz' bydel Lanke.
Ützdorf strækker sig over cirka 350 gange 650 meter, uden der er nogen klar grænse. Stedet ligger ved den nordøstlige bred af Liepnitzsøen. Fra denne sø fører en lille forbindelse til Hellsee, som også uformelt kaldes Ützdorffließ. Direkte mod Ützdorf grænser i syd Festungsheide, i øst området af Lanke, i nord Biesenthaler Bogenheide og Wandlitzer Skov.
