Stationen Magdeburg-Buckau ligger ved jernbanelinjerne Magdeburg–Leipzig og Magdeburg–Thale i bydelen Buckau i Magdeburg. Den afgående linje Biederitz–Magdeburg-Buckau er ikke længere i drift og er blevet nedlagt. Nord for stationen er der en forbindelseskurve til jernbanelinjen Braunschweig–Magdeburg.
Det nuværende stationsbygning blev bygget fra 1926 til 1928, det erstattede en forgængerbygning, der stod cirka 200 meter mod syd. Det er en murstensbygning med et valmet tag, indgangen danner en fire akslet risalit med et halvrundt overhæng. Det var på det tidspunkt blandt de mest moderne stationsbygninger i Tyskland og er i dag fredet.
