Oeding er en del af kommunen Südlohn i Borken-distriktet i Nordrhein-Westfalen. Indtil 1969 var Oeding en selvstændig kommune i det tidligere Ahaus-distrikt. I Oeding ligger Rathaus for kommunen Südlohn.
Oeding ligger i vest for kommunen Südlohn ved den tysk-nederlandske grænse. Den tidligere kommune Oeding havde et areal på 20 km². Den omfattede landsbyen Oeding samt landbrugene Nichtern og Oeding.
