Schopflochberg er et beskyttet naturområde udpeget ved forordning fra regeringspræsidiet i Tübingen den 10. december 1993 med nummer 4.233.
Naturområdet ligger i naturområderne Midterste Kuppenalb og Midterste Flächenalb. Det omfatter toppen og skråningerne af Schopflochberg, som ligger ca. 600 m vest for Trailfingen. Halv tørre græsarealer i området danner en biotopforbindelse med halv tørre græsarealerne i de andre beskyttede naturområder i nordområdet af Münsingen: Höhnriß-Neuben, Kälberberg-Hochberg, Seetalhalde-Galgenberg og Eckenlauh-Weißgerberberg. Beskyttelsesområdet er en del af FFH-område nr. 7523-311 Münsinger Alb og ligger helt inden for biosfæreområdet Schwäbische Alb.
