Suhl er en kreisfri by i den tyske delstat Thüringen. Byen har 36.208 indbyggere. Fra 1949 til 1990 var Suhl en del af DDR, hvor den fra 1952 var hovedbyen i den navngivne Bezirk Suhl. I 1989 blev der påbegyndt anlæggelsen af en trolleybuslinie, som dog aldrig kom i drift.
