Bessingen er en landsby ved Ith. Siden 1973 har det været en del af Flecken Coppenbrügge i Hameln-Pyrmont kommune i Niedersachsen.
I Bessingen er der gjort prahistoriske fund fra Schnurkeramisk kultur fra tiden 2500 til 1700 f.Kr. Der er dog ikke dokumenteret nogen bosættelse. Den gamle navnesuffix „-hausen“ tyder på en opståen i folkevandringstiden i det 4. til 6. århundrede. I 2012 fejrede Bessingen 950-årsjubilæet for landsbyen. Årsagen var omtalen som „Batsingehusen“ i et gavebrev fra kong Heinrich IV. den 9. marts 1062.
