Aschendorf er en by i den tyske kommune Papenburg, delstat Niedersachsen, og tæller ifølge kommunens hjemmeside 8.444 indbyggere. Før 1932 var det hovedby ikreis Aschendorf, og mellem 1932 og 1977 var det hovedby i det tidligere Landkreis Aschendorf-Hümmling.
Byen ligger tæt på motorvejen A31 Emden- Ruhrområdet. Afkørsel 16), nær den hollandske grænse ved Bellingwolde, fører ud til den provinsielle vej fra den hollandske grænse via Rhede til Aschendorf. Fra her er der yderligere 5 km nordøst til Papenburg selv ad B 70.
