Cuxhaven [ˌkʊksˈhaːfn̩] er en by ved udmundingen af Elben i Nordsøen. Det er hovedby i den ligeledes navngivne kommune i Niedersachsen og tæller i henhold til indbyggertal som en af de store selvstændige byer ifølge den niedersachsiske kommunale forfatning. Samtidig er det, efter Wilhelmshaven og Emden, den tredjestørste by ved den niedersachsiske Nordsøkyst samt det største tyske badehus ved havet. Byen tilhører metropolregionerne Nordvest og Hamborg og er ifølge den statslige udviklingsplan et middelcenter.
