Alfambra er en biflod til floden Turia, fødes i Sierra de la Moratilla, på toppen af Peñarroya i cirka 2.000 meters højde i provinsen Teruel.
På en snoet rute, først mod nord og derefter mod syd, forårsager dens lejlighedsvise oversvømmelser alvorlige skader på haverne i de små byer, den passerer igennem. Floden løber gennem byerne Galve, Orrios og Alfambra, som den har fået sit navn fra, samt Peralejos, Cuevas Labradas, Tortajada og Teruel, hvor den mødes med floden Turia. Dens vand er rødligt på grund af tilstedeværelsen af store mængder ler.
