L'Alfambra è un affluente del fiume Túria, nasce nella Serra de la Moratilla, sulla cima di Peñarroya a circa 2.000 metri di altitudine nella provincia di Teruel.
In un percorso tortuoso, prima in direzione nord e poi in direzione sud, le sue piene occasionali causano gravi danni agli orti delle piccole località attraversate. Il fiume scorre attraverso le località di Galve, Orrios e Alfambra, da cui prende il nome, oltre che Peralejos, Cuevas Labradas, Tortajada e Teruel, dove si unisce al fiume Túria. Le sue acque sono rossastre a causa della presenza di grande quantità di argille.
