De Alfambra is een zijrivier van de rivier Túria, ze ontspringt in de Serra de la Moratilla, op de top van Peñarroya op ongeveer 2.000 meter hoogte in de provincie Teruel.
In een kronkelige loop, eerst in noordelijke richting en vervolgens in zuidelijke richting, veroorzaken haar sporadische overstromingen ernstige schade aan de tuinen van de kleine dorpen waar ze doorheen stroomt. De rivier loopt door de dorpen Galve, Orrios en Alfambra, vanwaar ze haar naam krijgt, evenals door Peralejos, Cuevas Labradas, Tortajada en Teruel, waar ze samenkomt met de rivier Túria. Haar wateren zijn roodachtig door de aanwezigheid van een grote hoeveelheid klei.
